Bonus Activity: Write a letter to a friend or family member to tell them that you are going to visit your country of choice. In your letter, please tell them where you are going, why you have decided to go to the particular country and how long you will be away. Feel free to invite them to join you, if you’d like!

Dear Lusia & Von.
Guess what? My sister and I are going to Australia for a holiday! I’m going to be staying with my Uncle for 3 weeks. I am so so excited! If you’re wondering why I chose Australia it’s because they have a beautiful country and I wanted to experience a new place. Plus I wanted to see my other family. Don’t worry i’m going to take loads of photos and videos. I will also make sure to video call you guys everyday. Wait why video call when you guys can come with?!? I bought you guys tickets too! I hope that you guys can make it, because it wouldn’t be fun without you guys! Hope to see you guys soon xx.
P.S the tickets are sealed with the letter.
P.P.S hopefully I don’t come back with an Australian accent (g'day mate)

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous letter. It is so funny and well-written. I love that you bought tickets for your friends, Von and Lusia. It's great to see that Lusia wants to come with you. I'm sure that Von does, too! Who wouldn't want to go to experience a cool new country with their friends?
I really hope that the three of you are able to get to Oz one day. I am really hoping to get to Melbourne one day soon. It sounds like such a cool city!
