Summer Learning Journey: Week 1, Day 5, Activity 2

Activity 2: Before you start packing your suitcase you will want to create a list of everything that you will need to bring with you. Most airlines let you bring one big suitcase with you so you’ll have to think carefully about what you want to bring…
On your blog site, post a list of everything that you need to pack for your trip. Put a star (*) beside the 5 items that you think are the most important.

Items:
*A heap of clothing  (including person wear) = shirts, pants etc
*4x towel
Spare pair of shoes
Jandals
Sunglasses
A cap
Sunscreen
*Toiletries = toothpaste, deodorant etc
8x pairs of socks
*A device = phone, laptop, ipad etc
*Money
My journal or books
My hairbrush

  1. Hi Alecia,

This is a good list - it's pretty comprehensive. I think that the only thing that you may still wish to bring with you is a passport. These days the immigration control team in Australia want to see the passports of every single person who is coming into the country. They need to see where you are coming from and want to be sure that you have the right visa. As a Canadian, I have to buy a special visa that allows me to enter Australia. The visa is valid for 1 year so every September I have to buy a new one. Aronui is a kiwi so he doesn't need one because the New Zealand and Australian governments have made a special deal with one another. I wonder if the Canadian government will ever make a special deal with the Australia government so that we don't need visas either. Only time will tell, I suppose...

    Safe travels!
    Rachel
