Snake Reading Activity Week 4

A yellow bellied snake is a poisonous type of snake. It is called a yellow bellied snake because its belly is yellow, it also has more venom than a cobra. A yellow bellied snake has sharp fangs and can grow up to a metre long. The yellow bellied snake has a paddle at the end of its tail to help it swim. The yellow bellied snake is one of the most deadliest snakes in the world.

The yellow bellied snake eats fish eggs, small fish and eels. A yellow bellied snake would prefer to eat other creatures then a human. It first paralyses a creature then eats it with one mouth full.

Did you know what you should do if you see a yellow bellied snake?.... don’t touch it because the venom is quite poisonous, you can also call the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and they will come and take it away so you are safe.
