Reflection: Winter Learning Journey
During the last week, I have been participating in the Winter Learning Journey Programme. Today was the last day and it was honestly such a good experience! It was something to keep me still learning during the holidays and was also so fun. My highlight activity was Day 6, Activity 2. Which was when we got to choose one person to represent New Zealand at the Olympics. I say this because it made me realise how thankful I am to be able to call myself a Kiwi. I am very thankful to have participated in this programme, and not just for the competition. I would like to say a big thanks to Rachel Williamson for letting me participate, cheers!

Reflection Writing: Term 2
This term has been a hard term, in terms of learning and behavior. But I quite enjoyed it because of all the experiences that I have had this term. I have also quite enjoyed it because I had achieved at least half of my goals. In the holidays I am planning to write and read a lot. But I will also be missing my friends. But now I can't wait for the next term!

Reflection: Kiwi - Sport Week 2
We had Kiwi Sport today again. This lesson was my favourite lesson so far. Mainly because I had fun since the boys and the girls were split up. But we first started off with a passing drill. It was quite complicated though. We get into three lines, then 1 person from each line runs up and passes the ball. Then the second person rolls the ball on the ground and the third person picks it up and passes it back to the first person. Then it repeats again and again, but it has to be at full speed. Then the boys and girls split. We did the same thing that we did last week, but this week our Instructor Kate said that the girls did much better. I really enjoyed this weeks session and I can’t wait for next week!

Last Day of Term 2!
Today was the last day of Term 2! I am sad and happy at the same time. I am sad because I will miss seeing my friends at school everyday and I am happy because I am finally able to have a break. My highlight for Term 2 is being able to have the swimming pool because it was loads of fun!

Reflection On First - Tee
During this Term we have playing our Kiwi - Sport. Our Kiwi -
started in the beginning of the
year and have improved our skills.
Our first lesson we talked about
thought that talking about respect,
integrity, courtesy etc was very
important.
He also showed us how to set up. Left hand, right hand, legs together, left foot, right foot, pegu, pop..... SMASH! That’s how we set up.
So in the beginning of each lesson we would talk about a specific virtue. Or he would show us through an activity. Then after learning our lesson we would play a game. We learnt how to play Snag Golf. Which was like Baseball/Softball. But with Golf. We learnt that the small shots were the most important. Not the big shots. We also learnt about OBY which was others before yourself. Then after every lesson we will shake hands as a sign of respect. Which I thought was really thoughtful.
Throughout the Term I have really enjoyed the First - Tee lessons because Mr. Thompson didn't just teach us how to set up or how to hit the ball. He also taught us some really important lessons and virtue.
